Okay first things first I used to work here.
Story Time. “Giovanni’s Brooklyn Pizzeria” lets start with the name. The owners name is JON! But obviously Jon’s Brooklyn pizzeria doesn’t sounds appealing in Bradenton Florida so he picked the Italian name. Then Brooklyn pizzeria. This guy tells everyone how he worked/had a shop in Brooklyn for 20+ years and tells people he moved down here in 2003. Turns out buddy moved down here when he was 13 and his dad worked in/May of owned a pizzeria in Brooklyn so at least there’s credit for that but you sir a fraud ass liar. Tells everyone everything is made fresh. Ya? The pizza is made fresh the sauce dough, app meatballs(which not gonna lie are pretty fire)and spaghetti are THE ONLY things made fresh. Everything else is frozen. Mozz sticks, garlic bread, stuffed shells etc. nothing was every out back properly. Me and other pizza maker cleaned under his marble slab one day where he makes the pizza and it was the moldiest worse smelling thing in my life. Let’s not forget that this place was family owned and run by a crazy family. Every week there was a crazy epic fight whether it was from the kids getting caught working high on xans or getting caught stealing money from the register it was always something crazy and the cops were involved at least twice. Owner also has bad anger issues and is addicted to laxatives of all things! Wtf!! And to prove more he’s a bit go on google and read the bad reviews and how illiterate and aggressive his responses are. I quit this place because buddy wanted to give me $5 and hour to cook,serve, deliver, cashier, dish wash and wouldn’t give me a raise when I asked. His response he doesn’t have the money but goes and buys a second new car which was a Mercedes. Nah fam. All in all this isn’t New York pizza. It’s not even New Jersey standard pizza. It’s okay for Florida and what’s around here but for the price your Better off with Pizza Hut lol. It’s floppy and greasier than a mother fucker 1.3 franky that’s a review (that’s not their pizza that’s dominos I would never eat their again)
