Giuseppe's NY Pizza & Pasta Express

If you’re judging a serious pizza spot by grabbing a single reheated slice and firing off a lazy score, you’re doing it wrong. This place should be judged on a fresh whole pie. Order the full pie and get a side of marinara. That’s the move. Giuseppe’s in Ormond Beach is very legit New York style. No, it’s not coal fired, but it doesn’t need to be. The undercarriage is solid. Crust has structure and snap. Ingredients taste fresh. Sauce is balanced. Cheese coverage is right. Everything is consistently cooked well. I’ve been to a lot of Dave’s top-rated spots. This holds its own in the NY-style category. You can tell they know exactly what they’re doing back there. Staff is friendly, service is efficient, and the product speaks for itself. Top pizza in a wide radius. Highly recommended.

Nice crispy under carriage. zero flop. On the thin side. Sauce was pretty good. Cheese was good. Good solid slice. 👍

Was on my way to Disney from Buffalo NY and had to get gas. I seen the ny pizza sign do I had to try it was great 2 slices of cheese it was crispy sauce was awesome and the beautiful blond behind the counter was lovely.

It tasted so bad that I forgot to actually give it a number. It legitimately tastes like I went to Disney or Universal and got a pizza, and that ain’t good. Note to Self: don’t eat pizza from a place attached to a gas station

I enjoyed the crust and great cheese. Only complaint was to me the sauce was a bit bland.
