First off the sauce, the fucking sawce is crazy!! Like Gary Busey crazy but with enough garlic to kill Kiefer Sutherland. The only thing holding it back from the 9s is it could’ve been cooked just a minute or two more. Crust tasted great just not enough crisp and char that the big brother has. Cheese off the wall very similar to big bro. I’d prefer lucali but would be very happy to have this anyday. Sure you want Shannon Elizabeth but you’ll settle for the band geek just as much.

Unsurprisingly Lucali-esque, given that the owner’s brother runs Lucali. No ridiculous wait or difficult COVID-era takeout policy. Definitely a bit pricy, but a great pizza with a charred crust that resembles the best coal oven places in the city. Cheese has a sharp flavor due to use of both mozzarella and Parmesan.

Despite literally being the “brother restaurant” to Lucali, this spot isn’t nearly as popular. And while their pies may not be quite as good, they’re pretty darn close. A minor miscommunication while ordering over the phone, they put red peppers on my pie. I was hoping to rate the cheese pizza and had high hopes for it; but the peppers were fine, might be affecting my score slightly as it was more difficult to taste the flavor in the cheese & sauce. But like Lucali, they use a delicious blend of bufala & low moisture mozzarella, just wish there was a bit more spread around. The sauce is old school Italian, loaded with a mix of terrific spices and plenty of zest. Cooked in a wood-fired brick oven, the dough is super thin and a little cracker-like with lots of crisp. The crust, or cornicone as it’s referred to in Italy when describing artisan Neapolitan style pizzas, is much thicker but still light and airy. The bread crumbs spread underneath the pie help reduce moisture and keep it crispy. Despite missing some fresh basil on top, there is plenty of parmigiano reggiano sprinkled about to give some added flavor. While it’s not quite Lucali, it’s still excellent pizza.

Had a lot of flop as crust was slightly undercooked. Otherwise good. Was hoping for better 🤷🏻♂️

Note: I walked from the restaurant to Windsor and 7th so take that into consideration. Could even be higher. More than any one ingredient, the balance of this pizza is what makes it. Close to perfect combination of dough, sauce, cheese. And isn’t that what’s it’s all about? Superlative pie. Support your local pizzeria!

Wanted Lucali but had to “settle” for Giuseppina’s during these times. It’s the best pizza I’ve eaten to date. Can’t draw up a better pie. Would eat this everyday if I could

Reminiscent of Lucali’s (they are brothers after all). Love the sauce and crust. Have eaten at the restaurant and ordered takeout, definitely recommend going in for fresh warm pizza.

Pizza as an art form. The dough is shockingly light with a nice crunch. Somehow the crust is airy even tho they roll it out with a wine bottle. Unreal flavors. Clean, delicious pizza

Top 3 best pizza I’ve ever had. Crust, sauce and cheese all mesh into one hell of a slice. Calzone was also life changing.

It’s a great calzone, the dough, Cheese and ricotta is perfect. Love this place. The first bite was ridiculously great.
