Gnarly Girl Pizza

Another solid spot located in an area of very good pizza! While this pizza makes a nice use of the oregano, the dough is really what holds this pizza back. The undercarriage lacks a really solid crisp which leaves slice and crust coming across as a little dough-y. Cheese and sauce compliment each other well, but like their counterpart down the street doesn’t tend to pick a side of sweet or tangy. The result is a middle of the road sauce that is simply present. If you’re local and craving a pizza, this is a solid spot and it has some really interesting combos that I haven’t seen anywhere else! However, not earth shattering enough to make a special trip.
