Golden Crust Pizza

Took a detour to try this place on my way back home to Pittsburgh, and it was a great decision. This place has been around since the 80s and I understand why. The sauce had the perfect amount of zest, and the cheese was high quality as well. The sauce and cheese left ratio was also excellent in addition to tasting good. I’ve had better crusts, but it’s rare to be great at everything in the pizza game.

Way better than expected for a local sub shop. Easily the best pizza I've found within a 30 minute radius of the Red Lion area. I do recommend asking for it well done though.

I’d get down w this big time on a fun night of margaritas. This is a tasty pizza but nothing super crazy that I’ll remember after today. If you’re in the area, try it.. it’s good pizza especially for the area! A little too greasy, sauce is good, lots of cheese.. that’s a win or lose for many people but I don’t hate cheese.

Very tasty pizza. Their special sauce is on point, good crust. Too much cheese that lead to too much grease. Still a very nice pie

Used One Bite to visit this place while traveling from DC to Lancaster. Good pizza. Nice undercarriage. I found the dough to take more chewing effort than I prefer. Nice amount of tangy sauce. Good quantity of unremarkable, but not oily, cheese. Worth the stop.

Yep, it got THREE “very’s” from me and the beer list is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ as well. . . 🍕. . . this place has 81 different like pizza varieties to mix and mingle with. I decided on my go to but with a twist for this review. The traditional thin pie, half pep~~~but with the “Dirty” crust. See. 👀 See in the picture the crust? Well it’s great. Ask the ants too, they loved it.🐜 The Dirty, it’s like a crispy butter crust with seeds (not seasoning as it’s described) and the garlic, sesame seedy, poppy seed thingy really works. I’m sure basic crust is really good as well. I will drive outta my way to enjoy this neat little neighborhood joint; grab some hard to find Craft Beer too~🍺~ and ask for Katie as a server! She was great! We liked her a lot!! Highest score yet in all my reviews. Too bad I’m a half hour away. Or wait, probably a good thing I am and can’t get here everyday. 🤔😳😉(my waistline would be a lot worse than it is now)…❗️🍕❗️🐜❗️

Lots of flop but out of this world flavor in the cheese and sauce. Crust is crisp and moderate. Fantastic pizza at a small town joint!

I had the pleasure to eat at my favorite pizza place in Red Lion, as usual their pizza doesn't disappoint me..... lots of flavor in the sauce and crust, not a chewy pizza or a sweet sauce like my favorite in Pittsburgh but one of the best pies in the area and an easy place to get in and out of!

Very generous portion for a slice. It’s heavy but light. Sauce isn’t overpowering, cheese is quality, great amount of crust each bite. Worth the trip
