Golden Grain Gourmet Pizza

Got the BBQ chicken. Good size slice. Great crisp and really good flavor.

Sloppy mess on the front half of the first slice, but flavor was amazingly delicious...I went with the margherita pie, sauce had the zesty zing factor I love & the flavor of the (3) cheeses blended together (Romano, Mozzerella & Ricotta) were what brought the score up on this pie...try it next time you’re in the colonie area on Wolf Rd.

A lot of flop, a lot cheese and a good amount of sauce. Sauce is a little on the sweet side though. I prefer a more crisp bottom. A little sloppy but an ok slice.

Back on the pizza grind after a couple months. It tasted so good because it’s been so long BUT I still had to switch gears and be the critic I am. First of all, lovely people working in there especially the cashier. Nice young lady with an accident. Apologizes if the pizza took too long I said sweetie it’s been 2 minutes it’s okay. Nice little neighborhood pizza joint. Truly the plain slice wasn’t half bad. I mean I’m in Albany so I know I’m not going to find many 7’s up here and shit if I find an 8 somebody better hold me back. But this slice had a nice crunch and the sauce had some zip I wasn’t quite ready for. Chicken Parm slice on the left ... ehhhh. But nonetheless cheese deserved a 6.5 feels good to be back.

Not very great. Should have taken the advice of everyone else. Garlic knots were awesome though!

Lightly crispy, little bit of grease on top. Sauce goes right to the edge of the crust. Good garlic taste on outer crust. Nice sauce. Cheese is a little chewy. Nice slice. *FYI*: Margherita pizza here is an 8.3!

Good pizza for a late night hotel order. No flop. Pizza had good integrity. Solid.

The slices I had were definitely not “gourmet”. But both were solidly in the good range. The sauce was very good but distributed sporadically. Perhaps the more elaborate slices would score higher so I’ll probably give them another shot. Decent overall.
