Pizza Review
It’s not bad, but I thinking has been over-hyped because of this app. It’s a huge slice, so they got that part of the NY pizza experience right. The $7 daily lunch special is hard to beat for value (slice, side, & drink). I had the breadstick for the side item, and it is about 18 inches long. Overall the pizza was decent. A little dry/ light on sauce, but the cheese was ok. I think my slice had been sitting in the window for a while, so maybe my experience wasn’t as good as it could have been. The crust was kind of doughy, but it would probably be good hot and fresh from the oven. The place is a real pain in the butt to get to- it took 6 laps around the block to find a parking space. (Mass Ave is definitely geared toward those who are “already downtown” and not toward those who are making a specific trip to a place like this.) So... huge, average tasting slice. Average breadsticks. Terrible parking. Overall, it’s just an average experience. I would stop in again if I was in the neighborhood, but I wouldn’t make a special trip for it.
