Goodfellas Pizzeria - Mass Ave

Always a go to spot when I’m in Indy. Never lets me down. Good solid slices every time. Calzones are awesome as well.

Great pizza! Good tasting crust. Cheese and sauce is great. My son hated pizza and hasn’t eaten pizza in 2 years, this pizza changed his mind. 8.9 was his score.

Great pizza. Crust was great, quality cheese, better sauce would raise the score.

Not the same pizza Stool Presidente had when he wrote his review. This pie reminded me of Papa John’s or DiGiorno…it was trash. Counter staff had zero personality and almost as little a clue. Don’t be fooled into thinking you’re getting a NY style slice, it couldn’t be further from it.

Good one here. Cheese was super good quality. No flop. If it was a little more done, it would be in the 8s.

Really good New York style pizza. They sell the biggest pizzas I’ve ever seen and you can just get a slice if you want. They’re breadsticks are also huge and very delicious

Greasy. And unless I’m nuts, salty. Crust doesn’t hold up. Major flop. Taste of all tree ingredients fair. Sauce is best of three. I’m hungry and I don’t like this a little. Not enough sauce to boot.

I agree with El Prez, really good pizza. And huge. Solid in all aspects. Good crust, cheese and sauce.

We got the Goodfella, the Tommy Two Time and a custom Chicken and tomato. The Buff cheese bread was as good as the pizza! We are going with El Pres on this one.

Solid pizza overall. A bit greasy in the middle, difficult to keep the cheese on the slice. Undercarriage is nicely crisp. Sauce and cheese has good flavor, and lovely air bubbles to enjoy. Service was fast and friendly. 7.4 combined score.

I think Dave just about hit it on the nail with this score. I’ve been to many of the same spots as Dave and this is the first time I’ve ever scored the same exact thing as him. Couldn’t go lower or higher. I went to Goodfellas in Cincinnati and got a pizza by the slice. I got a 16 inch half and half pie here. I felt this location and getting it by the whole pie was much better than the Cincy location.

Giant floppy grease ball. Dough is good but I don’t get all the hype. The flavor reminds me of really good dominos—good drunk pizza but would go out of my way for it
