Goomba Johnny's Pizzeria

So this place hasn’t gotten a lot of recent reviews. FWIW, it is a solid pizzeria. The slice was showcased by a distinct zesty sauce. It also had a decent undercarriage and a little crisp in the crust. But all the ingredients were fresh and d the people were super nice. Not many places in that area that I can think of that would be better.

This was as solid as solid gets in terms of a football slice. Very little flop, thin ~ not too much cheese, sauce was good. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I’m surprised to see it’s current rating on here. Maybe they got a new chef? I enjoyed it and would certainly have it again. I’m glad I stopped in and scored it ~ there score is going up! 😂

One bite everyone knows the rules ... not bad , solid presentation, no flop, good undercarriage but could been cooked a bit longer .. little tang to the sauce. Cheese not the greatest. 7.1 fair score .. good party and football pizza

One bite everyone knows the rules..... This slice shop has changed hands 3-4 times over the past 25 years but they've always kept the same oven. I've prob eaten more pizza from here than anywhere else. I was hoping that nostalgia would put it over the top but that just simply isn't the case GENERIC!!!! there's no doubt in my mind that every ingredient on this slice is purchased from a food distributor. The sauce is generic to the point where I almost would compare it to "mall pizza". Cheese def isn't a star and it's the standard variety. The slice itself was well cooked and heated but the cheese still had a tough time separating. HEAVY HEAVY slice contributing to some serious NY flop. This is a perfect example of the pizza shop that is closest to your house NEVER being good (it's the rule). Convenience pizza at best to shut your kids up. That's a review!
