Grand Apizza Madison

Had cheese with garlic and basil. Very thin and crispy. Not too cheesy. Great flavor and crunch.

Exceptional pizza. Great crisp, one of the best crust pizzas I’ve ever had. Cheese was great, would recommend 100%.

Our favorite pizza on the shoreline, including New shaven. I said it! Perfect crust every time, and the sauce is always tangy.

Not bad. I believe Clinton does it better. Dough was a little inconsistent. Not a bad pie overall though.

First off the family and staff are absolute first class as well as Mikey coming over to introduce himself made the trip even better! Pizza is perfect, cooked dead on crispy and charred like I love the flavor from the crust, tangy fresh sauce and that Mootz with bite to die for!!! Each ingredient compliments the next and the ratios are spot on. Everything about tonight was perfect wash it down with Foxon and bonus cannoli review that was amazing and I’m not a desert guy. Place is awesome to sit at and enjoy I will be back!!! Plus the family legacy you can’t beat it and is totaly New Haven royalty:)

I came to the Madison restaurant because of Dave’s review. Plus I never knew of Grand and their connection to Wooster Street New Haven. The pizza was fantastic. Got a meatball and it was loaded. This is New Haven Style Pizza and you will love it.

Still the best ahbeetz around. We had Pepe’s last night, it can’t even compare to Grand. Great sauce, cheese, and crisp.

Had high hopes but found the cheese pie to be run of the mill grease slice. Definitely did not have the New Haven apizza qualities. Ingredients did not seem fresh and well balanced. Crust was extremely hard and over-crisp. Cheese ok, sauce understated. I would like to try the Clinton location and give them a second shot as the history seems solid.

Solid New Haven style, super crispy crust, light and airy. Dough, and sauce could use a little salt. Love how crisp the crust is. Zero flop.

Crisp crust with decent flop along with solid amount of cheese.

Large pie with red sauce, mozzarella, and sausage on half. Excellent apizza. Well done without asking, which I liked. When it first came out, it did have some flop, and the sauce was a little runny, but after a few minutes it formed up. The sauce, cheese, and sausage all tasted excellent. Crust was very good but not as good as the sausage. Will definitely be back.

Thin, crispy, very well cooked. A classic pie.
