Grand Ave Pizza

Honestly, went into this with 0 expectations. No name of the spot anywhere, just says restaurant & pizzaria outside. The inside looks extremely run down and the pizza counter is pretty minimal. Was pleasantly surprised though. This review is on just the sicilian, but the regular slice was pretty solid. The crust and dough was actually exactly how i like it. Perfect thickness, nice and crispy and flaky crust and under, nice classic sicilian bite to the dough. Perfect sauce to cheese ratio. The sauce was actually pretty good and a little on the thicker side which i love. The cheese i wasnt a huge fan of, had a weird taste to it, but looked past it. A regular, a sicilian and a sausage n pepper roll was $14 flat cash which was great.

Stopped in for lunch special, 2 slices and a drink for $7. I definitely overpaid. Big time flop and a strange taste to the sauce and cheese. Really heavy on the oregano in the sauce. Goes by Pronto Pizza now. Maybe there’s a bit of a learning curve.

Reminds me of Ellios frozen pizza. It’s edible but nothing more than that

One of the worst slices I’ve ever had. Greasy as greasy could be. Sauce was very bland and slice was overall just bad. Crust saved this slice from a 3 or lower......That’s my review.

Cheese and sauce is good but the crust is dense and chewy. Specialty slice had good flavor too but crust needs work
