Grand Avenue Pizza

Subtracted one-fifth of a point because they got my order wrong on one of the slices, but all in all, if looking for a good New York slice, this is a good place. It was a little oily and the cheese was slightly flaky, but the ingredients were fresh and there was zero flop. Aside from getting a wrong slice, however, they do run a good pizzeria—efficient on a busy evening and was only ten bucks for two slices plus knots. That’s a review.

Basic pizza, ingredients are decent and the slices were a little greasy.

Classic queens slice. Very thick bread not sure why it’s rated so low.

Another decent slice, the crust is pretty good.

Just a solid, textbook NY slice

Was in Astoria so busted out the app, and this was a little under a mile away from where I was, so we took a walk. I’m going to lean more towards the majority with the scoring of Dave’s very generous 7.9 score… It was very standard.. good sauce, but floppy & cheesy.. I like thin & crispy.. to each their own…

Pizza so good that people off the streets want it. We didn’t share to say the least. About average New York slice!

Had a regular slice and a sicilian. The slice was good, cheese was fresh, sauce ok, dough had a great taste. I prefer the crust to be a bit crispy tho. Sicilian wasn’t that great to me. Overall, good pizza.

Very run of the mill pizza. Not bad by any means, if I lived here I’d come when I want pizza, but not worth traveling for. Good cheese/sauce ratio. Crunchy crust. Standard.

Really sloppy. Too much grease. Cheese falling all over the place. Regular slice is better.

Ordered a pie. Half pepperoni. They took an old pie and just threw pepperoni on top. Crust was chewy. Couldn’t even get a fresh pie. Disappointing.

This is a solid football pizza. Well done undercarriage, an airy slice but also has good crisp. The crisp doesn’t happen in the crust which is unfortunate.
