Grandpa's Pizza

Rookie score and stand behind it on this one. Got the grandma since that’s what everyone recommended. If you like sauce, this is incredible pizza. I’m on the fence about this style pizza but really good. If the dough were a bit fluffier, score would be higher. Happy I stopped by!

First time and best pizza we’ve ever had! Took down the large Grandma’s and had to stop ourselves. Definitely coming back

I haven’t had a pizza this good in a LONG time. When I picked it up I saw the guy making a different pie, all fresh ingredients, even the dough. It was thin but not too thin, absolutely no flop, no burns either. I had 3 slices of my pizza before leaving back home, and I didn’t feel heavy at all. The pie was light but filling. GREAT FOOD

Just got back from a trip, from Ft. Lauderdale to Clearwater. I pulled off I75 (2.9 miles) and came to one of the most talked about pizzerias on the Florida West Coast. 1. Located on a strip of Latin bars, clubs and restaurants in Bonita Beach 2. David Portnoy was here and praised them for being there 40 years, owners from Naples Italy, and them working in the shop all the time. 3. The pizza overall was good, with a very well made dough. The bad part was the aroma of some kind of cheese they must mix in. I just couldn't shake the overwhelming smell.

For my 100th different pizza joint review I kept with the usual pep and sausage. This pie definitely slaps, its a thin pizza with great sauce and undercarriage. No flop here! Only thing I would say is its a bit greasy which brings it down.

Great slice .. I will make sure to stop there anytime I drive by Bonita springs

The grandmas pie is an experience. No flop, the slice stands straight up when you pick it up. The sauce is good. The crispness is perfect. Wish I could find a pie like this back home.

If you’re like me and the sauce is what makes it, go with the Grandma. The standard cheese was very firm with great crisp but too little sauce for my like. Grandma: 8.3 Cheese: 7.2

It does not get much better than this. This man knows what he is doing when it comes to pizza. The perfect crisp, slice. His sauce is to die for too.

Good pizza. Nice crust. Very little flop. Some char on edges. Grandpa very friendly. I always get the special/deluxe pizzas so different than Daves cheese reviews. Easy to driveby. Hard to find. Only 2 outdoor tables.
