Grandpa's Pizza

I know Dave gave this a great score, but honestly, we grabbed a large cheese and a medium sausage. Called ahead and got there 5 minutes before the 30 min window, pies were just leaving the oven. I’m going to tell you, this is some of the BEST pizza I’ve eaten in Florida. It’s definitely NOT easy to find good pizza like this down here. ZERO FLOP, EXCELLENT CRISP, undercarriage was a perfect finish, and whatever this guy does with his dough and sauce is absolutely fantastic. I finished off the cheese on my way home from work (it’s a great room temp pie) so it was 2 full meals out of 1 pizza. My employee got the sausage and ate 5/8 of it before we even got to the job site, finished his off for dinner as well. We burned our mouths off on the initial start, but totally worth it, so great out of the oven fresh like that. Also, the cheese these guys use is top notch, no “pond” or “soup” whatsoever, just all around solid, solid pies. It’s also like 7 minutes off the exit of 75 in Bonita, so I plan on making a stop on my way home to scoop it up to take home. Side note, I tried to order “Sally’s apizza” pre made and cooked frozen pizza that the original got a mid 9 score, if that truly is what Sally’s tastes like (regardless of frozen and you heat it up) it had zero flavor and was terrible, obviously I’m sure it’s different “fresh” but it shouldn’t change that it had no flavor (including the sauce, cheese and crust) it tasted like absolutely nothing- compared to this, Sally’s was a 2 this is a 9.5 (unfair comparison, BUT AGAIN, it was their pizza just flash frozen, so it should retain flavor, it just may not cook the same texture wise) THIS PLACE IS A MUST STOP no matter what.
