Okay pizza. Nice flop. Crunchy end crust not so much the rest. Greasy. Gets the job done

I know what you guys are thinking, you're not reviewing their standard cheese pizza, so is this even a fair review? Granfanallys is known for their garlic knot Pizza and according to the owner it is by far their best seller, so I figured it was what I had to review! I went here with my old man, who grew up in Jersey right outside of New York City and is VERY tough critic! The pizza itself tasted almost as good as it looks in the picture! The dough was your typical football style, which makes sense because Granfanallys has a sports bar setting with several TVs on the wall, which were all showing the Patriots game while we were there! Good crunch on the dough and The garlic knot crust was the highlight! Very unique as I've only had something like this one other time. They definitely don't hold back on the cheese, which I like to see these days since a lot of places do to cut costs! Sauce was adequate but didn't stand out in anyway. They also have a sicilian that I saw the table next to us get that looked incredible as well! I've taken my dad to the majority of famous spots in downtown Boston (santarpios, Regina, Umberto), and he said this was better than all of them!

The pizza is delicious. Great sauce to cheese ratio and garlic knots are awesome.

Granfanallys in Salem, New Hampshire. Sicilian style. Great crunch on the crust and toppings cooked to perfection.

Very good! This is the plain cheese garlic knot pie. Good sauce to cheese ratio. Sauce is not to sweet. High flop, lots of grease. Good crunchy crust and the garlic knot is a nice touch. Definitely eat it again.

Not a lot of flavor unfortunately, not a lot of sauce except for up by the crust. Needs some seasoning. Garlics knots USED to be amazing, this time around they were extremely hard and overcooked

Great looking pie...until you pick up a slice. Huge flop with tons of grease. Sauce is spot on but hate to say it but way too much cheese. Crust game is on point tho.

AC 7.7 Very floppy, greasy, and the crust being too big still could not change the fact that it was a great pizza.

Great sauce and cheese. Crust isnt the best...knocked down a few pts. Has a wood-fired taste/texture that i loved! Restaurant had a cool vibe.

I'm a transplant from North Jersey to Northern Mass. Growing up where I did good pizza was easy to find moving up here was a shocker you really need to search for it. I finally found a real old school Sicilian pie (left) this place is great!!

Thick cheese. Doughy crust, lightly cooked. Bit floppy, good sauce. Decent looking staff. One of em was a hottie, other chicks were 5’s at best.
