Came to Grano Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar in Duarte for a special occasion—the girlfriend’s birthday—so the pressure was on. Even brought her family, which is basically the Super Bowl of eating politely. Staff? Super friendly, like they were auditioning to join the family too.
The pizza had that thick, saucy crust—kind of like it skipped leg day but still pulled it off. One bite, everyone knows the rules… but yeah, I went back for more because math doesn’t apply when the pie hits right.
Not in the mood for pizza? First of all, shame. Second of all, the Italian food here is actually super delicious, so you’re still winning.
Final call: 7.9/10. Solid pie, great vibes, and I didn’t embarrass myself in front of the in-laws-to-be.
