This place has to get some solid business from the Depew Union Free School District right across the street once the final bell rings for the day. Also noteworthy - they’ve got a drive through at this joint. How neat is that. Don’t have to get out of your car when it’s 11 degrees and blowing 27 mph. As for the pizza, I’d say it’s a slightly above average pie on the scale of Buffalo style pizza. Not as thick as most in WNY. Crust had a decent crunch, but majority of the piece was floppy. A little greasy and the flavor is as average as you would hope for pizza. All in all, would choose over some others in the area if that counts for anything.

It was brought to my attention earlier that grassos had allegedly lost their fastball. So as a student of the game I took matters into my own hands and faced the noise and ordered a pie from there. After review I can say that this was a good pie and I’m a bit confused by its criticism. This pie had cheese that tasted fresh and the sauce had the perfect amount of sweetness to not be too much but also not too little. Crust was crisp and the slice overall just played ball.

Absolutely horrible. I know I’m breaking the rule with the pepperoni review here but I didn’t order it. The sauce is brutal. Way too much cheap cheese. Oh and I almost forgot to mention. They barely cooked this thing.

First off make sure you have tons of napkins when ordering pizza from here. Pizza has so much flop that it’s hard to handle. Feels like it weighs 3lbs. The grease just pours off of the slice into the to go container. Very big slice, lots of cheese, thick crust. Sauce has a great flavor and pepperoni has excellent cup and char. Crust cooked very well with nice crunch. Would have scored much higher if it weren’t so greasy. Over all good slice of pie.

Good cheese, good crunch on the crust. Pepperoni good. If the sauce had a little more flavor it would have been low 8’s. Side note: The mashed potato pie was a 8.4 ( on right in photo).

Solid pie. If you like Bella Pizza in Lackawanna this place is nearly identical. Same family same recipe. This pie is a little doughy but otherwise good.

The original Buffalo Pizza Guy here with detailed reviews and expert opinions. This pizza is about as basic of a slice as it comes. Really greasy, not much on the flavor end, good cheese and great crunch from the crust but there was too much of it. There was a spot where it tasted relatively sweet and that’s the inconsistency I stay away from. This is decent pizza in a pinch, spend the extra 5 minutes and drive down the street to Santoras.

Tasty slice! Good size, plenty of roni with just enough char. A little greasy but that is just a give. With the pepperoni. Good balance of ingredients with a great tasting crust.

Waited 15 minutes for a fresh slice and they promptly went against my wishes and put pepperoni on top - which I picked off but the grease damage had already been done. Overall though, solid football Pizza, good flavor in the cheese and sauce. Just too thick and doughy for the ranking system. Would certainly go back though.
