Pizza Review
Small place but huge atmosphere. As soon as you walk in you’re greeted with a “small town” hospitality and then immediately punched in the face with mouth watering smells. The walls were covered in various sports memorabilia and there was a few tv’s playing sports. We didn’t get to dine in however because there was a “celebration of life” event taking up the entire dining area for a fallen local hero. We however made it just in time to cheers with the boys in blue honoring their fallen friend. The pizza, was overall good. The crust had a great crisp, good amount of cheese, and the sauce in my opinion had tons of flavor. Everything you’d want in a pizza. However I do have a couple thoughts. The pizza is a little on the greasy side. You can see from the pics. So if the pizza sits for even a short amount of time the center will have some flop. Second and last complaint I have was the crust. You can see in the pics that there is a fair amount of crust on each slice. It was nice and thin on the bottom just how I like, but you do get this nice breadstick like crust running the perimeter of the pizza. The only bad part about it on this pizza was the crust was a little bland. Maybe a touch more salt in the dough would be good. However the crust was nice and crispy with a fluffy inside. Perfect texture if you ask me. We did get a side a marinara for our garlic bread (which was also fantastic) so Dipping the crust in that would be a solid choice. All in all I’d for sure order this pizza again. Great flavor, great texture, great atmosphere, and just a stones throw away from a bunch of cool places to visit. 7.2
