Didn’t get off to a great start when I called a pizza in ahead of time and showed up 20 minutes later to find they didn’t make a pie for me. Instead, they reheated a large cheese pizza that had been sitting in the window. But I’m not going to let that affect the overall score. While points should be deducted, I’m judging solely based on what I ate. For a reheated pie, there was obviously some grease, but not nearly as bad as you find with most reheated pizzas. The cheese was actually very creamy with a rather pleasant flavor. Really good crisp on the dough and crust, thinnish, great taste & texture...possibly a little crispier than usual due to the reheated factor. One area that needs a little work is the sauce, both in quality & quantity. Slightly lacking in flavor, could use a little more zip & zing and another ladle full spread throughout the pie. Despite the order mixup, this is very solid pizza with room to improve, specifically in the sauce department. Still, very good for Southern Connecticut.
