Perfectly thin crust, slightly sweet tomato sauce, chewy cheese (but in a good way). Get the pepperoni meatball! If doing takeout and not eating ASAP stick slices in oven at 375 for 5 minutes to crisp crust.

One bite everyone knows the rules. Dough made with real NY water. Sauce and cheese very good. Crust a little crunchy but still very nice. Overall good enough pizza to make the drive for.

My favorite pizza. The Don with extra basil. The crust is so so good! I wish they offered breadsticks as a menu option. It's the best pizza I've ever had, I leave half a point off in case there's something else out there that can top it.

If not the best or then second best pizza I have had here in LA so far

This is the best pizza available in the LA area and its not close. I dont know what these weird haters are talking about. In the restaurant, fresh out the oven... 9.4 all day. Crisp, tang, minimal flop. Everything you want. Fuck yourself.

Excellent crust Grimaldis El Segundo!!!

Best part of this pie is the sauce, good tang and flavor. Some unexpected flop so not the best crisp on the crust. Kinda close to the Brooklyn original, probably would be better hotter.

I ordered the pizza online, it took about 30 minutes to arrive and the pizza was cold. This is my first Grimaldi’s pie... maybe they like cold pizza. Score 6.6 as of today this is the best in the area which is not good. Searching for other places.

Disregard the other reviews on here. Anyone that’s honest living in SoCal knows this is the best we got. Prez gave this a 8.1 in nyc. I think he rated it a little low , I’d give it a 8.8 but because of the shitty reviews I have to give it higher. That’s a review

Good solid pizza. Toppings probably helped with flop. Everything tasted good.

Solid toppings and sauce. A bit floppy and the crust was just ok. Pretty good overall slice.

It ok, lots of El Segundo flop, crust is nice, cheese and sauce are great also. 7.6 that’s a review.

Coal oven cooked, so the crust was amazing, other than that it was a sightly better than average pizza. 🤷‍♂️

Really floppy and soggy in the center. Too much sauce and too sweet. Edge crust was good. Not nearly as good as the original Grimaldi’s

This one of the few coal fire pizza spots on the west coast.... I tried the one in Arizona so yea it is technically a chain..... however they do it very well from the crispy thin pizzas to the fresh mozzarella and the staff at this location was very welcoming the Arizona location got a 7.9 this location slightly higher but that’s probably just cause it’s close to home still very good pie

Definitely my go to NY Style pizza joint...been to the original under the Brooklyn Bridge in Brooklyn, NY...same taste !! Real coal burning oven, black coal soot on the crust...the added fresh basil leaf at the end makes it even more legit...this pizza is the one I compare all other pizzas to...great “peechapie”...now I’ll go get my fix, AGAIN !!
