Grotto Pizza - Concord Pike

Got food poisoning, got 2 pizzas and curly steak fry's with a cheese steak stromboli, I only had 1 slice of margarita pizza and 2 slices of the cheese pizza and 2 Fry's, about an hour afterwards I started getting stomach cramps from what I thought was I ate too much but then turned much worse 2 hours later with diarrhea and extreme cramps, my mom threw up what we brought home immediately after eating. Nothing smelled wrong with the food but the cheese pizza had an odd taste for the cheese which I mistook for being zing as it was my first time eating here so I had no control to compare it to. From entering the restaurant I felt it was dirty and run down but still gave it a chance from the ratings. I am never eating here again. I would trust a food truck more than I would this place with my food again.

Review 414. Nice slice very delicious sauce. Cheese pretty good also. Had a little crisp for convection slider oven. very small slice for $6 didn’t like that. Would love to try a whole pie fresh. Nice Crust also.

Might go to pizza. This pizza is like me cocky and overconfident and thinking it’s all that.

So this pizza is by all accounts very good, though there’s a couple things here and there. Great mixture of cheese and sauce, especially cheese. No other pizza quite like this whether you like it or not, some slices are better than others, but overall pretty good. Not too much flop, not a lot of crisp in the bite, though the crust is crisp, decent crust.

This is the classic choice for anyone roaming through Delaware, although I am a sauce guy this sauce is very tangy and I love it but it feels like there is a little too much on here. I get that the swirl on the pizza is there famous thing, but the sauce outplays the cheese and the cheese really seems to have no flavor. The crust is average. But if you are a sauce person like me definitely come here. Overall pretty good pizza, I like the overall taste and crunch. Pretty good. Stop on in.

Fresh out the fire..Great crisp, sauce was good. The classic grottos swirl. Score would be a solid 7 but I asked for cheese & they brought me pepperoni. Had to deduct 1/2 point.

Very average slice for having so-called “The Legendary Taste”. The box also advertised it was “Voted best pizza in Delaware”, I think we need a recount.…
