Very good sweet sauce pizza

Can’t go wrong with Grottoes! Good Delaware staple.

Might go to pizza. This pizza is like me cocky and overconfident and thinking it’s all that.

So this pizza is by all accounts very good, though there’s a couple things here and there. Great mixture of cheese and sauce, especially cheese. No other pizza quite like this whether you like it or not, some slices are better than others, but overall pretty good. Not too much flop, not a lot of crisp in the bite, though the crust is crisp, decent crust.

This is the classic choice for anyone roaming through Delaware, although I am a sauce guy this sauce is very tangy and I love it but it feels like there is a little too much on here. I get that the swirl on the pizza is there famous thing, but the sauce outplays the cheese and the cheese really seems to have no flavor. The crust is average. But if you are a sauce person like me definitely come here. Overall pretty good pizza, I like the overall taste and crunch. Pretty good. Stop on in.

Not a traditional pie but the Buffalo is spot on!

It’s alright. Sauce is a little sweet and the cheese/sauce dispersion is, meh.

Floppy. Bland.

Bland. Couldn’t tell there was sauce. Big flop. Just ate a slice for the review. Just a mediocre slice of pizza. Sadly not a lot better in the immediate area. Don’t waste your time Prez.

Tons of crisp but not burnt, ZERO FLOP!!! Best pie in the state.

The don’t call this place The Legendary Taste for nothing. Excellent Izzy. Sweet sauce. Chewy dough. Well worth your visit.

Very average slice for having so-called “The Legendary Taste”. The box also advertised it was “Voted best pizza in Delaware”, I think we need a recount.…

Delicious pizza. Zero flop zesty sauce and the cheese was good. Looks like a lot of sauce but there is cheese under most of that sauce swirl. That’s their signature thing, the cheese and sauce swirl. Crust was perfect. I love their pizza. It is the best down at the Delaware beaches tho.

Tons of flop, but a good crispy crust. Very cheesy and saucy, but yet still very thin. It’s a beach pizza, but not at the beach. Pepperoni could use a little more spice. Overall a decent pizza.
