Grotto Pizza - Pennsylvania Avenue

Not terrible, but more along the lines of Dominos.

Disgusting

I’m giving them an extra point because they saved me today in a time of need but finally got to try the Delaware staple Grotto pizza. Unfortunately I’m disappointed, tastes like if you tried heating up a lunchables pizza

A DE acquired taste. Davey would prolly give this a 6.6. They may lose a pt from him for the slice pie being sliced the same size as a regular pie and costing $3.50/slice. But I know I'm home when I have this pizza.

The OG of pizza in little DE

I’ve been eating this pizza for 50 years...and I still crave it occasionally but there are better pies out there. The cheese is unique, perhaps some cheddar in the blend.

Good crisp, lil flop, super hot, better than I remembered. Good pizza overall

Love the look of this pizza with the swirl. Missing the seasonings though. Kinda tastes like provolone. No flop and the crust was meh. I remember better pizza maybe down the shore.

Long standing gimmick. Little flop. Garlic. Nice change of pace pizza

Make no mistake, this is not great pizza. It’s floppy, greasy, and I don’t think they even use mozzarella. That being said, I like this pizza very much
