Ordered the special without the anchovies because I’ve never had them and not about to be brave at a time like this. Being partial to thin crust, I knew I was going to really like this pizza. That said, this one certainly lives up to the hype and maybe then some. Super paper thin crust that’s well done throughout and beautiful char on the outer edges gives you that little pinch of bitterness but not too much like a peck on the cheek. This is a nice and neat pie with excellent ingredients like the pizza equivalent of a fine glass of scotch on the rocks. Best of all, this pizza isn’t gonna weigh you down or judge you for being yourself. This is the pizza that’s not only there for you before you head out for the night to make your mistakes but is also welcoming with open arms when you come back with your face riddled with regret, spit and sweat. What’s most remarkable is how a pizza so thin holds up so well in spite of the weight of the ingredients they’re able to layer on top of it. It’s like it’s got athleticism its thin but strong, lean and mean. It’s date pizza, prom pizza, dinner with the parents pizza. It’s not football pizza but wouldn’t mind its company on football Sunday. I think it’s a Dave 7.7 it’s an 8.3 for me.
