The joint is actually called Pizza Magaddino and it’s located in a small booth in the back of the Gulf Stream Brewery. This is shi-shi pizza, folks. Frou frou. Fancy pants stuff. It’s also friggin’ delicious. You know you’re about to have something good when you see the chefs making their own fresh dough as you’re ordering.
The pizzas are personal size but it works well in the bar/brewery environment. Ingredients are high quality: the dough, cheese, sauce, meat and veggies. The crust was light and airy (check out those bubbles), yet still was super crisp and had a nice, well done undercarriage.
Servers and chefs were friendly. Atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. Very, very nicely surprised and pleased with this stuff. You’re in for a good night out with a couple of these and some good beers from the bar. They also had vegan pizza options- I don’t go for that stuff but if it’s the same quality as the regular pizza choices were, you’ll be more than satisfied.
It ain’t the traditional football pie you’d get delivered to your home as you watch the game with your buddies. It’s definitely a little different, and it’s definitely worth checking out.
