Ah yes, the Nickelback of Detroit Pizza. It sells enough to stay in business but no one is willing to say they like 'em. It's not the worst pizza I've ever had (Hell, I'll take them over Caesar's) but there is an amateurish quality in the sauce and in the construction. Add to it that several better places are nearby (Shield's is across the street) and I cannot recommend Happy's Pizza. Maybe their other food is why people come.
