High Mountain Pies

Half meat lovers and half supreme with jalepenos. So hard to truly score. The crust was the highlight. Zero flop. Good crunch. Doughy but not overly doughy. Sauce was fine. Toppings were fine. Jalepenos were somewhat pickled or sweet. very nice touch

We are not in NJ but 11,000 ft high. These folks are amazing and the cheesesteak is fantastic

Bread was fantastic, excellent crisp, buttery, with exquisite taste all around. We loved this place. Quality pizza in the middle of Colorado. Cheers!!!! Great Vibes as well.

Solid pizza. Hit or miss though. Highest score being a 6.2.

Nice crest but makes up too much of the pie. Lotta flop but quality ingredients.

Stopped in for a little lunch with my wife and was presently surprised . Crust was crisp and light . Sauce was tasty and toppings seemed fresh . We finished the entire pie and we normally don’t . I’m a Philly boy so I’ve had some really good pizza in the past . This place could survive in the north east . Try it if ever in that part of the country . Good stuff …

No flip, good crisp, great thick crust, solid pie all around.

Don’t believe the hype… I get it’s the only real pizza joint in town but man was this mediocre. Pretty disappointing

High mountain pies is the place to go in Leadville. Not because it’s the only pizza place in town but because they make an exceptional pizza. Their are tons of options on a secret menu. Oh Ans try the ribs. You’ll be blown away.

Could be the mountains or the venue itself but doggonit this pizza is delicious. I wanted to give it a 9.3 but didn’t want to look amateur.

You might think Leadville is a drive through town, but it’s worth the stop.

Bf says 7.5, I say 6.9 so we met in the middle with 7.2 Really good crust but overly saucy and really greasy which made it get worst as you ate. Really chill environment love the patio. Probably better off getting a specialty pizza than just cheese here

My wife and I stopped into High Mountain Pies on our way through the Top of the Rockies Scenic Byway. We got a Large "Carnivore" pie. We paid $23 and waited 45 minutes for the pie at 3 in the afternoon on a Thursday. Unfortunately we found the crust too floppy, the sauce was tasteless. I wish we would've kept driving.

Crispy crust, no flop. Fresh tomatoes. Solid pizza
