Homestyle Pizza

Floppy, oily, undercooked, below average cheese. This should be considered dollar slice pizza off the street.

Decent thick square. Nothing blows me away but a decent slice. Sauce is a bit salty.

Cheese slice had a nice crisp on the crust but underdone in the middle, suuuper floppy. When I held it up the entire slice except for the crust was pointing straight down. Sauce was good, cheese ok but a little burnt. Square white with tomato gets a 6.7, solid slice

It just looks sad doesn’t it? Super cheesy, not in a way. I used to think their pizza was good, maybe it was the square pizza. This is not, was not good. Not cooked all the way, doughy, I didn’t like the sauce and the overload of mozzarella. Not for me 5.9

I think a 6.7 is fair... not a huge fan of their pizza, usually go for their other entrees. (Eggplant parm is an easy 8.2)

I always have the same reaction when having pizza from Homestyle: this should be better. A bit heavy on the cheese and the crust is rather doughy. The sauce has a nice tang but overall it falls short of being anything other than decent.

A Nisky hotspot for a long time, run by the family of “Mr. Monday Night” Joe Tessitore, Pizza was good, nice crisp crust. On a non pizza note, they don’t toss their wings in sauce, you’ve gotta specifically ask them to. Weird man.
