Pizza Review
Good pizza. Went for the pan/Detroit style on this one, but the edge was left completely dried out, lacking any oil, and with more of a cracker taste than deep fried grease. Not sure if this was intentional or not but took away some from the pie. Pepperonis were top notch for Denver, where it is rare to get collagen-cased/cupping pepperonis. You could also choose “extra wide” pepperoni, but the thick were of course the best for a deep Detroit-style slice. Sourdough crust was lite and fluffy, no arguments there. Sauce/cheese both good, though the sauce was a bit basic and could have maybe used a bit more spice from some seasonings mixed in. All ingredients fresh tasting. Interested to try the NY style next time!
