Hot For Pizza

Ehhh

I have had a number of specialty pizzas from here in the past, and they have been great (plus love the atmosphere in there), but I wanted to try something more standard to see how it stacks up against other basic pies. Love the flavor and no grease or flop, but definitely on the thicker/doughier side (think Little Caesars thickness). I prefer more crunch, so loses points there. Overall a tasty pizza, but I’ve had better in Richmond including there at HFP. 7.1

This Picture was of my wife’s pie. Gluten/Vegan. I got standard with pepperoni. For a “thin crust “ it was thick, more restaurant style. I enjoyed the more Italian-bistro flavors of the cheese and sauce, but it didn’t dominants the personality of the pizza, making the pizza kind of a mutt. A like the pie, but it’s not a Super Bowl party pie.

I love this pizza. Such a good flavor and there isn’t much flop at all. The crust is done very well and the sauce is almost a kind of sweet. It’s really good, also love the way the pepperonis are the little cup ones. Delicious pizza.

Not bad, but not good. Par for the course in Virginia

Okay pizza. Heavier crust, not very crispy until you get to the edge. Sauce was a bit bland for me.

Best pizza I’ve had in Richmond. The vegan pie is exceptional. Sauce had great flavor, crust was a tad too chewy but when warmed up it was good

Great overall pizza light but not too light, good crisp and cheese will return again.

Very good. No flop, crispy & hot. Cheese & seasoning have some bite & plenty of good sauce. As far as plain cheese pizza in rva, this is above most.

Obviously one of the places in Richmond to get a unique slice, as well as a tried and true pep or cheesey boi. Good crust, crunchy. Not sweet sauce. Better than most locally

The regular pizza is good, but the pan cheese pizza (and I normally hate plain cheese) and “Chicago Style” cheese Sunday is the best (again I’m a pepperoni guy, but I haven’t deviated because the plain cheese is that good) We get it almost every Sunday. Dave wouldn’t like it, but Frankie would.

Good pizza. Had a little crisp, doe was good, sauce a little sweet but also some kick. Basil helps it out. Been excited to try this place. Solid overall

I wanted this to be the greatest pizza I ever had....it wasn’t. I’ve got it bad, got it bad, got it bad, I’m not hot for this pizza. One Bite needs to allow more sig figs so that one could give this pizza a 5.150. ❤️🎸❤️🍕

Hey good pizza baby. Wow good sauce. Kind of bready but the sauce makes it slide down easy. Nice Van Halen vibe!

Solid slice. Perfect crust. Sauce is a little too sweet
