HOTLIPS Pizza - Hawthorne

Too floppy for our liking, but good sauce and overall decent pizza.

I’ve had Hotlips before and thought it was decent, but this was very disappointing. Pretty much flavorless across the board, with a frozen pizza bite. Sauce had okay flavor and the place is cool - those are the saving graces.

Run of the mill NY style football pizza. Nothing bad about it - but nothing great

Expensive. Not a great taste to it. Girlfriend had to spit out her first bite. Would’ve preferred making my own frozen pizza

I would call this an average quality slice - nothing stands out either way. The sauce is underwhelming but tasty, the cheese is, well, cheese, and the pep is enjoyable but not top quality. Flop test was good, though maybe a bit too crunchy on the bottom for my tastes and there was tons of grease which was juuuust enough to be too much.

Good pizza. A little greasy. Bottom was a little burnt.

Cheese slice is amazing (reheated slice), albeit a tad small. No flop, great cheese, light on sauce. Could easily eat 5.
