Pizza Review
Hubcaps is such a cool place, unlike anything I've even seen before. It has a massive center bar with wide open space for tables and booths in the theme of an old-school auto diner. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza for noon pickup on a Wednesday. There wasn't one person in there when I went I got there, but the pizza was ready on time. As I was waiting to check out, there was a a consistent line of pickup orders from the business next door. Hubcaps employees were pleasant and knew most of their customers by name. It was pretty awesome. Now the pizza, it was fine. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing really that stood out. The crust was thin and chewy, cheese cooked well, and pepperoni mildly salty. The thickness of the slices were on the thinner side, which was fine, because everything was adequate for toppings. I was looking for a unique flavor to set it apart, but it just fell a little short to prevent me from giving a better rating. The prices here are very reasonable and cheaper than most other comparable pizzas in the area, and pickup time was very quick. They got the operation down to crank out food. I really enjoyed the restaurant itself, and will be returning to try some of their other dishes. Check out for Hubcaps for something different and nostalgic.
