Pizza Review
***This places no longer exists. But I’m gonna use this for the nearby place Fire and Oak Wood Burning Kitchen**** They’re wood fired pies actually look good and come in a personal size and large…but their regular gas oven slice is really average. As is their Sicilian. You've no doubt had similar pizzas at any NY slice joint. It’s just another medium thin, browned bottomed, chewy kind of slice, not particularly remarkable tasting sauce, though somewhat well distributed, with no grease or flop for those who obsess over that. It’s got to be brutal being down the road from Baci’s, easily one of the best pizzerias in the whole county, who it may turn out that I might’ve ***underscored** a bit even though it’s one of my highest marks and favorite joints. I say this spot is mainly worth it for if Baci's is too busy or sold out and mainly just for the wood fired pies. I'm recommending that just on the looks of those pies on Google. If you don't care about wood fired and just like any slice joint type pizza, Fire and Oak is not bad. I feel this this place should just focus on great New York wood fired pies and it could distinguish itself from Baci's.
