Huntingdon Valley Pizza

418—this was just disgusting. The crust the sauce the cheese. This was just all around gross sorry folks

This review is based solely on the plain pizza. It’s a decent pizza. Dough has a nice flavor. The sauce is a bit sweet for my liking. The cheese is your typical Philadelphia Colby pizza cheese, but it’s the perfect amount. Not too much and not too little. It’s a decent Friday night pie. The eggplant Italiano square pizza is entirely a different review. That’s a solid 8. Crispy and delicious.

I’ve had more pizza this week than the Ninja Turtles but you won’t hear me complaining. Had to take a trip juuussssttt outside the city limits to get this review in. I’ve been on a run of very average slices lately but this one was pretty solid. $2 for a slice...not bad at all. Good solid crisp all around...cheese was good with just the right/acceptable amount of grease. The sauce had a strong but fresh tomato flavor...could be a bit more savory if I had a suggestion. The crust was crispy and soft which is ideal with a fresh taste to it. Overall I’d say you’ll enjoy this place and a fresh pie is sure to be a few notches better.

Sauce and cheese had good flavor, however crust a little too heavy. A little too much dough.

Debated a 7.9 to 8.1, but the only 18 inch pizza around I have to say I find it very satisfying.
