Amazing crust, tangy sauce, wonderful service. So simple and good!

Grandma pie looks solid and frankly delivers in every way. Would recommend as the quick service option in town, pretty much every bit as good as Toro, just different approaches/styles.

This is my favorite pizza in Durham. Thin, crispy, great tang on sauce. Definitely worth a visit!

Their grandma pie is one of the best pies in the area! But they do run out of them if you show up later in the evening. Great place to hang out and have a beer too.

As a NJ native, I was impressed with the crisp and the cheese. Would love more sauce, but very impressive southern pizza

Major flop but busting with flavor

Crispy just not my style of pizza it’s ok I’m not a fan of the cheese. I’m sure some people love it but it’s not for me

One of, if not the, best in Durham. Bigger slices than Toro and for less $$. The crust holds up better too and this has better cheese coverage. Crust has perfect crisp without being all black on the bottom. Could use a little more sauce.

Super thin and floppy. Not my favorite style, but very tasty. Cheese and sauce are very good, but a bit greasy. The crust looks great but it’s very airy and crispy. Not much to it.

Real solid pizza. Crust is nicely charred on the bottom, better than any other pizza in the area. The cheese is also top notch, the sauce is the only part that needs some work. Delicious to be sure, but missing just a little something and a little runny. This pizza is somewhere between a Neapolitan and a traditional NY style pizza and does it really well. If you’re in the area, it’s a must stop by kind of pizza shop.

Margherita pizza extra crispy nice char. Was a decent balance of sauce and cheese.

Awesome atmosphere, good beer and service. Tried the spicy vodka pizza. If you like traditional this isn't the pie for you.

Spicy Vodka, good crust, meat has great flavor. Good flop, overall a solid slice

rock solid spot, just a notch under the likes of pompieri and pizzeria toro - they are light on the sauce and the crust is a little bland, but they definitely know what they're doing
