Ive always thought this place was solid the crust was crunchy and fresh and so was the rest of it was pretty good. Maybe try to soften the crust just a tad bit but it was really good. Service was great too

If I was on my deathbed, and I had to choose between my mother’s homemade penne alla san giovanni and this pizza... I would pick this pizza 1000/1000 times. The cheese. The sauce. The smokey crust. It doesn’t get any better. This wood-fire pizza is as close to perfection as it gets. The best pizza I’ve ever had. A solid 9.6

Place was very nice inside. Absolutely nowhere to park. They have glass tabletops which to me is just odd. Allot of flop. Small amount of grease. Waitress was nice. Beer list was full But this review is about the pizza alone. Go to yelp if you care about the entire experience. So 👀 THE GOOD The pepperoni has a thicker taste than your run of the mill pep. Gives a good meaty taste. The cheese had a pungent flavor that hit me in a very good way. The dough was crunchy where it needed to be and soft where it had to be. THE BAD The sauce. Oh lord the sauce. It tastes like a strong spaghetti sauce. Which honestly isn’t something you expect at first bite. It was a total turn off for me and it made me really dislike this pie. Honestly if they’d change the sauce I’d recommend this pie. But until they do that I’m gonna have to give it a....

Had a lot of hope for this and it looked so good. There were some faint glimpses of good flavor in the sauce and pepperoni, but the dark smoky flavor from the wood oven was just to overwhelming and gave the pizza a bad taste.

Not a bad pizza at all! Crust was awesome, but garlic really overpowered the rest of it. I really love garlic so it didn’t bother me as much, but for the garlic haters... beware.

Great wood fire crust but very average sauce and cheese. Would have given lower score but the crust made up for it.

Thin, delicious crust. Nice flop and the perfect balance of ingredients. Wood-fired. Best in the Pittsburgh area
