This pizzeria doesn’t get the hype that the other big time Brooklyn spots get but it definitely deserves to be mentioned with some of the best pies in the borough. Super fresh ingredients, mouth-watering tangy sauce, sharply melted mozz and dough so delicious you know if had to be made with NYC water. You can stand in line for hours at the tourist traps or you can come here for authentic Brooklyn pizza that ranks up there with the best of ‘em.

Dave must have been hyper focused on the crunch. This pizza is straight soup. I would call it a tomato soup bread bowl before I would call it pizza. The flavors are fine but an ungodly amount of tomato sauce ruins it. Other reviews say the same about too much sauce and hot enough cheese.

The sauce and mozz were the real deal here. Stringy, chewy cheese and deliciously fresh tomato sauce. Both were superb. Smattering of oregano on top but not too overwhelming. Crust was decent but nothing special. Cooked well done, a bit crispy. Got pepperoni on half to try it out. Thought the pep was fairly good, 4/5.

one bite, everyone knows the rules. my FIRST 9. easily the best slice i have had, and i’ve had @angelos👀. super respectable slice and the best sauce i’ve had. only thing i would say is more cheese but this was the CRAZIEST flop i’ve experienced. amazing slice

Sauce was absolutely delicious, a happy medium between too sweet & too acidic — Cheese was not too stringy or chewy, but the crust could’ve been a bit firmer/crispier. Definitely would return with friends, it has a family-style social atmosphere.
