IL FORNO A LEGNA

Yesterday we had dinner at il Forno and it was amazing #margaritapizza #woodfirepizza

I started off with their delicious meatballs and to top it off the thin crust wood oven sausage pie which it’s to die for! Favorite pizza place in town for sure!! Will be recommending family and friends!

The best pesto pie I have had so far!! From the cheese to the toppings everything was delicious. Love the brick oven. Definitely recommend to everyone!

Really good pizza!! Plain pie made in a wood fire oven. The cheese is just right and amazing. The crust is crispy and “doughy”. The pizza maker was very accommodating with the way I wanted my pizza and he definitely hit it out the ballpark. Will be back soon

This is from their new Raritan location. The tri colored pie is delicious! Love the flavors of each sauce.

Fresh ingredients, wood fire oven leaves a good char. Could have used another minute in the oven. Good personal pie.

Good pizza nice and crisp little flop

Pristine pesto. This place being just store fronts from Nancy’s makes Rahway a little pizza stronghold. The pesto was definitely home made - not like most pizza joints where you can tell they make their pesto from microwaved Nickelodeon gak with turtle food from petland discounts disguised as pine nuts. I look forward to the next time my family visits me here in Rahway State penitentiary so I can ask them to sneak me another dosage of the green goods from Il Forno.

I think it was just a bad day. But it came out too doughy. Cheese was tasteless and not even melted. Solid. Will try again.

Was expecting a lot better but not the worst ....

Great pizza Best in town

Thin, chewy crust that made this pie. They give you sauce on the side that has the tang, has the zip, and is perfect for pairing with the slice. The sauce used on the pizza itself seems to be different as it is a tad underwhelming. Overall great quality

Love the wood-burning oven taste. Great crust. Prefer a bit more sauce to cheese ratio on the pie, but Il Forno makes up for it with sauce on the side. Will be back to try other selections.
