Pizza Review
In a rare rereview this was a necessity after trying a fresh pie from the slice last time. Cousin of pizza legend Peter Grippo of Brooklyn Square, this place has all the stuff to be mentioned in the same sentence with their featured upside down. The crust is top tier, it’s insanely fluffy and airy inside, light in the hand while have amazing crisp on edge and great charring on the undercarriage. There is a thick blanket of sliced mozz melding perfectly to the top of the dough and is topped with an abundance of sauce. It’s sweet, rich, vibrant and thick complimented by a healthy amount of grated cheese. I was hi on this place before and already said this is one of the islands best spots but after crushing a fresh pie it has elevated to elite level pizza in my books plus the guy was so nice and appreciative. Located only a few minutes over the outer bridge crossing it’s worth every bit the bridge toll and another stellar pizzadventure.
