IL Primo didn't live up to its name as I found it to be an OK experience, though not without its flaws. The pie was evenly cooked with no flop, which is always a plus, but the texture left something to be desired. It leaned a bit on the doughy side, with no charring on the bottom, which I typically like for added flavor and crunch. The taste was also a little bland which required a hearty pinch of crushed red pepper to really bring it to life. Overall, the pizza could benefit from a little more depth in flavor and a crisper bottom.
