Il-Forno Pizza & Pasta

Classic tavern style. crust had just the right amount of crisp. Not too cheesy. Nothing fancy about this one but you know what you’re getting. Simple is good. 3rd & short, run the ball

I don’t want to turn anyone away from Il Fornos because their thin crust is still really solid, I’d give it a 7.2 (and already did in another review!) But never order the pan pizza. If you want deep dish, go to Peqouds, Giordanos, or Lou Malnati’s- there’s one 5 minutes from here! This is just bread pizza. No crisp at all. Just super cheesy and kinda gross in general. 👎 on the pan pizza. If I were Il Fornos, I’d just pull this off the menu. The thin crust is more than good enough to carry the menu and this is just not up to par with that.

Thin, paper-like crust which leaves little to desire. Sauce was bland. Better than chain pizza but barely

Had a moment to grab a bite so here I am at Il Forno (not with an S like I said in the video) great pizza I’d have it again. This year is their 30th year in business so they’re doing something right! That’s a review

Very good thin crust. Good crunch, perfect amount of sauce. Despite the service, it was great overall.
