Imperial Pizza got a bad rap from Barstool but I think Dave just isn’t used to this kind of ‘za. Imperial’s sauce is damn close to perfect. The crust and cheese sometimes get a little burnt which I wish they’d improve on (nobody likes burnt cheese), but they definitely make a pretty decent pie. I particularly the way they cook sauce onto the crust.

Pretty good pizza. Little more doughy than I like but it works. Sauce was the best part of the pizza imo, tasted great. Score based on taste and quality alone is a 6.8. When I take the ridiculous 30.00 price into consideration I drop the score to a 5.8. Decent pizza. Not worth $30

Good sauce and its not cheese heavy. Thicker crust but not crunchy which i prefer. Overall pretty solid

All right sauce, good cheese, not a lot of grease and flop, and good crust.

Cooked a bit light, cheese could spread to the crust a little more, most bites have a great amount of cheese and sauce but some bites are lacking. The cheese is well seasoned and flavorful, and the sauce is paste-like but has the balance of tang and sweetness.

Not a fan of thick dough but it was just the right amount. Borderline to what i do not like. Sauce was good. Cheese was good. Pepperoni meh.

If you’re into thick crust your rating will probably be higher. Good but too heavy for me

Unfortunately I couldn’t eat this slice right when it came, so temperature wise, it took away some of the enjoyability. But the slice itself was still really good. Wasn’t floppy. Great amount of cheese. Great use of oregano to really liven it up. Sauce was good too. I’d love to try it again hot out of the oven. I think El Presidente tries this last year instead a few years back, he’d have a different mindset and potentially a higher score.

First time here. Sauce was just the right amount of sweet. Right amount of crisp. Everything about it was just right.

Good crisp on crust, sauce was under flavored and lacking that "it" factor but the crunch put this one in the 7,s, overall not a bad slice

Imperial is one of Buffalo’s popular spots for pizza, just don’t ask me why I haven’t reviewed it until now... I was here before the remodel a few years ago, it has a lot of space and looks like a nice spot to have a beer. The pizza itself is good, excellent cheese, pepperoni and for it being a thicker slice, it has a nice crispness to it. To be honest here, the crust is fantastic but the sauce needs help. It tasted really fresh BUT absolutely no seasoning, the taste of tomato paste lingered after I ate the slice and it’s really disappointing considering it nailed every other point. $3 for a nice sized slice, you really can’t go wrong here.

I thought it was a really good slice of pie. Nothing to write back home to Wisconsin about, but I was pleased with the taste. 7.3 very fair score. Not as thick as some people are claiming, which I liked. Chicken wings on the side get a 6.9. Environment inside of Imperial gets a 7.1. That’s a review.

Gf had this a few hours cold. Too thicc dough and way too cheesy. The sauce tasted like it was from the dollar store. If warm maybe a 5.7.
