Pizza Review
Ok time for another pizza review. It's been a while....which doesn't mean I haven't been eating pizza, because I have. I just haven't been posting reviews. I have a bit of a backlog so let's go! Industria is a brand new pizza bar in my office building. It opened last week. I hope it's good! This place used to be Tailgate Charlie's which had been there forever. They've done a great job of remodeling and the place looks fantastic. I ordered the combo of All Dressed pizza with mushrooms, pepperoni and red pepper. It's half a pie and It comes with an italian wedding soup for $17. A little pricy but not outrageous. This pizza is kinda bland. Damn! The pepperoni, mushroom and red pepper are just regular, nothing special. The cheese is gooey but tasteless. The sauce is just there, no flavour. The crust is actually kind of nice. It's very light and airy but crunchy as well. The crust is the best part. I really wanted to love the food here. The score - 5.9 The pizza is comparable to your average take out. I wish it weren't so. The italian wedding soup was oily and also bland as all hell - 3.5. The place itself is beautiful. The service was very, very good. The manager even came over to check on me. I think it's a top notch, well run business. I will be coming back a lot and will try other things. I really hope they do well and I will support this place......but I can't lie about the pizza.
