Ironclad Sports Bar

I wanted to LOVE this pie. My soft spot is residential corner spots with tv’s everywhere and a sneaky slick pizza. The bottom looked nice, but I found it gummy. The crust had a BEAUTiful snap, but struggled to deconstruct under the bite. The flavors were dark, light and mildly oily; sporty. Love that, but the dough was worn out a bit too much and the chewing experience suffered.

Aside from the pizza, the staff is super friendly and the environment is exciting. Sports are always on and darts are in the back. For the pizza, it’s got a serious flop. The pizza is very true to bar pizza and has a “hand tossed” crust. The cheese is good but doesn’t stay attached to the pizza. Overall, the price is great and the pizza is bar worthy for the price!

Greasy burnt bar pizza. You will need to drink a bunch of their dollar beers to wash it down.

Not a bad slice but not great. Should have built an arc for all the grease that I was swimming in. Would I eat it again, yes. A little too thick and fought for my blood
