Italian Village Pizzeria & Restaurant

So I’m not sure how I missed this place. Here we are in Scarsdale, on a beautiful Friday. We just did a pizza review a couple of days ago, but that’s OK. Because we enjoy it, and we’re going to keep it going. it looks really good. Had some pretty good reviews as well. Time to jump in. And I forgot to mention, it’s almost St. Patrick’s Day. Nothing to do with pizza. But who cares. Took the first bite, it’s really good. Nice and thin and light, a tad oily, but very crispy. It’s right up my alley. I don’t really like thick doughy pizza. Zero flop. Good stuff. Quality ingredients. Good Italian pizza makers inside as well. That always helps.

Very Greasy but somehow stayed together. A mid slice

I'm very impressed with this pizza. Both the tomato sauce on the plain slice and the wing sauce on the Buffalo chicken slice packed a punch. The crisp was perfect and there isn't a flaw to speak of. The best of Scarsdale outside of the upscale spots. Plain slice 8.3 Buffalo slice 9.2

Crispy. Balanced . Oregano sauce . They openly support Ukraine , which no other pizzeria does in a 6mile radius (I checked). Free folk making good pizza.

My bit got cut out. It’s a 6. That’s a review.

Good slice, crunchy crust, too much oregeno which overpowers the sauce

Greasy floppy mess. Crust is bland and lacking crunch. Sauce tastes like it’s straight out of a bad can — way overwhelming amount of dried oregano — no fresh tomato flavor. Cheese was fine but greasy. The whole thing fell apart. Worst slice in town. Hate to be this harsh, but I think it’s accurate, unfortunately, and I am nothing if not fair.

Very greasy, kind of bland. Ok for football pizza but not that great of a slice.

Bland. No flavor at all. Thick crust, couldn’t taste the sauce or cheese....

Slice fell apart! Too much Grease. All though a good stoner slice.
