This pizza was a literal "hot mess". Fresh from the oven, pipping hot and loaded with fresh hot gooey cheese it became a quick mess. (see pic) With all that melty cheese made it a challenge to eat without needing a lot of napkins. I'm not saying that's wrong, but be prepared! The cheese blend was excellent having great stand alone flavor. Sadly the sauce got buried under all that cheese. Nice crust with some flavor that was cooked just right. Little flop but understandable given the weight of the cheese. Typical NY pizza style sliced sausage. (Will I ever become a fan?) Not the most flavorful sausage, lacked zest. All in all good pizza.
