“New York pizza” places in bell county area, come here and take some notes. This is the closest thing I’ve had to a New York tasting pizza in Texas, and it was fantastic. Right to the breakdown
Vibe: not much going on here really but the place has some character. It just feels like your normal suburban pizza shop, nothing extravagant, but nothing strange, out of place, or weird here.
Crust: the crust was definitely your above average crust. It was great however the only things that set it back were the grease that seeped through and made it floppy. The crust at the end could be crunchier, but it was still really good.
Sauce and cheese: I can’t really write two different write ups for these because they both complimented eachother extremely well in the fact that at no time could I taste one over the other. It’s not that either or has a distinct, unique taste, but rather, they both work together to bring the whole pie full circle.
Overall, great pizza, above average for sure, definitely the best in bell county and arguably in Texas so far.
The good:
-cheese and sauce
-PRICE
-crust to some degree
The bad:
-a little greasier than I would like
-too much flop
