Its Nutts Restaurant

Dumbest name for a restaurant/pizza joint ever. Old school sign saying “it’s nuts” out front makes you think you’re going to a nut shoppe…so weird. Get past that and you enter a quaint, funky little spot that has a bunch of different stuff. Trenton Style Tomato Pie, Fried Chicken, sandwiches, entrees, salads, ice cream and homemade desserts that looked awesome. Pizza: we got the large $17 with extra cheese. Sauce was more savory than sweet. Pie didn’t need any condiments (garlic, pepper flakes, oregano, cheese). E thought the extra cheese amount was perfect. We absolutely HATE how they cut the pie (De Lorenzo’s style…Not cut like a pie). Enjoyed it, will return. Fried Chicken: 2pc Chicken only (Leg and Thigh) $5. Juicy but no spices or flavor. Just like Acme fried chicken. Good, but not mind blowing. For $5 as a little protein to the meal was perfect. Cheaper than the cheese fries that we’d skip next time ($6.50, little cheese, small portion. Not worth it). Cash only, ATM on Premise.
