Jack's Coal Fired Pizza

Good slice but needs more tang in the sauce.

Nothing like what Dave got here 2.5 years ago. No real char, kinda tasteless. Totally disappointed.

It was ok. Crisp was good. Sauce was good. Cheese could have been a little Better. Maybe another minute in the oven and this would be a 7+

It’s really good pizza. The only thing that keeps it below an 8 is the over balance of tang in the cheese. Get that cheese a tad more subtle so that it works nicely with the excellent sauce… smoky slightly crispy crust . definitely better than most other spots in the vicinity.

So soggy. Zero flavor. Just tasted like canned crushed tomato

Dough was decent but not a lot of flavor in the sauce or cheese. Pretty soggy, not worth the hype.

7.8 is crazy, brothers doing gods work giving such high scores

Very delicious pizza. Definitely worth making the trip. Not to thick.

Sauce was good. Cheese and crust are really average for coal oven pizza. Another mediocre pizza that solidifies that Dave’s taste is awful. Thinking this is an 8 is bizarre

Just about as good as a thicker crusted pizza can get with me. Great, fresh ingredients, with a great char and undercarriage. But because it was a little too thick for my liking, and some bites were mostly cheese and bread, no sauce, it’s a 7.4.

Needs more sauce! Easily 7.8 with more sauce. Crust is on point!

Honestly good taste and crunch but disappointing when considering Dave's score...Ninas in Utica ny is better than this and scored lower...amongst others...6.8. Good atmosphere, service, great beer selections but no slices available.

Looks wise… great, taste meh.Hardly any cheese or sauce, slight crisp with a floppy tail. Ordered was placed online picked up by noon, not too many people inside. One bite everyone knows the rules…..6.7 done

Pizza was wet, cheese was inconsistent, some slices had a lot of cheese some barely any. Definitely needed to be cooked longer, need that char on it! Super doughy as well.

Went with the carnivore. Okay amount of toppings. Cheese was good, but a little light. Not too greasy for a meat lovers. Sauce was good. Crust had some great crunch along the edges and some flavor. Pizza had more flop than I was hoping for. Good undercarriage. I added some red flakes and asked for some parmesean since they didnt have any on the table. They brought some fresh grated parmesean. Service was horrible, should dock them some points.
