Jax Wood Fired Pizza - Haleiwa Town

Thin crust, sourdough pizza with excellent under carriage. The sauce and cheese were great! It was delicious. The family atmosphere made for great vibes.

Paper thin with fresh ingredients. Reminds me of the old version of Bohemian Pizza in Litchfield, CT. Maybe I bumped the score up for the nostalgia; but regardless, one of the best on the North Shore.

Ordered a pepperoni pizza. It was thin with plenty of flop and a weak undercarriage. Tough crust. The crust was burnt all the way to the cheese line leaving no taste for anything but carbon. Not great. Won’t be going back again. Side note is the horrible customer service, I would rate that a 1.

Had the Da Kine. Crust was light and thin, created a flop and was not cut well. Soft crunch, good dough though. Very flavorful sauce. Great cheese. Worthy of a stop if in North Shore for a while.

Dakine. Over 8 is travel worthy, this is definitely not that. Solid pie but definitely could’ve been crisper, debates asking for well done but I had to have it like the locals do. If In the area it’s an easy choice.

7.5 marg pizza, some parts floppy other side of the pizza stiff and crispy so not sure what happened with the stretching of the dough but good, good tangy sauce, some nice mozz, just expensive for what you get. i think this was 16 for a 12 inch marg

Great first bite. Cheese is nicely melted over the entire pie. Sauce has a good tomato flavor and is seasoned nicely, tastes really fresh and has a clean flavor. Crust has a nice chew and tastes as equally fresh as the rest of the pie. Only complaint is the flop, lots of it.

Very good pizza, cheese was very good and fresh, the wood fire oven was very nice and the crust had a pretty good crunch. However the sauce wasn't best I've ever had but overall a solid pie.

Honestly.... not bad. Average flop, short flop. Wood fired. Definitely better than that place across the st.
